Hülsmannshof is located in the richly historic Margarethenhöhe, where you can find and join regular daily tours.
With only a 5minute drive from Essen’s trade-fair building (Messe Essen) and 10 minutes from the city’s central station, you’ll find our little green oasis. Neighboring beautiful woods, our half-timbered restaurant subtly fits into these magnificent surroundings and is a regular stop for walkers and passers-by.
Fine oak beams, with an addition of a glass roof for light to provide our restaurant with natural illumination and an overall unique ambience. Our restaurant is listed as a heritage building and was completely reconstructed in 1998 by the Margarethe Krupp Foundation and still holds its charm with the compliments of old and new.
The Halbachhammer is only a few minutes away and accessible by foot.
Parking? We have a large parking lot right next to our restaurant.
Not only are we an a la carte restaurant; we are open daily and welcome bookings and events.
